早在上世紀 70 年代，蒙陰就引入了長毛兔。經(jīng)過多年發(fā)展，蒙陰長毛兔養(yǎng)殖規(guī)模不斷擴大，養(yǎng)殖技術持續(xù)革新，產(chǎn)業(yè)鏈愈發(fā)完善。目前，蒙陰縣存欄長毛兔約 700 萬只，年兔毛產(chǎn)量超 6000 噸，占全國產(chǎn)量的 1/4 ，產(chǎn)品暢銷歐美、日韓等 20 多個和地區(qū)，年出口創(chuàng)匯達 3000 多萬美元，長毛兔產(chǎn)業(yè)已然成為蒙陰的支柱性產(chǎn)業(yè)。
