毛兔采毛后兔體裸露，夏季要防止太陽(yáng)直射，冬天要注意保暖，適當(dāng)增加營(yíng)養(yǎng)。母兔在臨近分娩時(shí)不要剪毛，以免營(yíng)養(yǎng)得不到及時(shí)補(bǔ)充而影響胎兒發(fā)育。母兔采毛時(shí)間可以安排在配種前，到分娩時(shí)毛還較短，便于仔兔吮乳。平時(shí)要定期梳毛，及時(shí)草屑、糞便，防止食入兔毛而引起毛球病，發(fā)現(xiàn)兔疥癬要及時(shí)、隔離。
