草食性動(dòng)物，性情溫順，群居性差。屬恒溫動(dòng)物，正常體溫在38.5～39.5℃之間，對(duì)致熱物質(zhì)反應(yīng)敏感，適于用作熱源實(shí)驗(yàn)。
